What better way to celebrate America’s freedom than with family and friends, the white, sandy shores of Destin, and, of course, a fireworks display? From July 3-5 HarborWalk Village has put together several spectacular events for the Fourth of July. A combination of beautiful scenery, live music, and blissful shopping and dining leads to nonstop entertainment and enjoyment for the whole family! Starting off on Thursday night, 7:00 PM-10:00 PM, is the Red, White, and Blue Celebration, in honor of local hero Tommy Rice, and all of those who help and defend our community and our nation. Along with live entertainment, there will be plenty of activities for the kids, such as crafts and face painting. To highlight the evening, there will be a free firework show, and a WWII-era flyover! The Fourth of July follows as the village is engulfed in 1940s decorations, illustrating the style and culture from WWII. More specifically are the Victory Belles, who epitomize this period through their remarkable performances and costumes. But the fun doesn’t stop there, make sure to stick around at 9PM as the skyline lights up in magnificent colors from the FREE fireworks display! To close out the celebration is the band Gypsy Riot, who will perform free on the HarborWalk Village stage from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM. Based out of Pensacola, FL, Gypsy Riot will have you dancing and singing along to all sorts of popular rock and dance songs from the 80s to the present day! It’s safe to say that this is a must-go-to event, for visitors and natives alike, while in the Emerald Coast area. Make your Fourth of July holiday plans today to experience the beautiful and exciting culture of HarborWalk Village!
